Women are no longer safe in their own homes. 20 men can break down your door, steal your stuff, terrorize & traumatize your daughters and they are not accountable or even identifiable. I hope reporters don't let up on this!

I agree. Since they had the warrant and KNEW these were not the people named in the warrant, there should have been some deference to their treatment. Call for clarification? Leave the home and fall back to their superiors? What was their intent in treating these women in such a disrespectful and terroristic manner? They posed no threat. Why destroy the home and take their belongings? I realize the new EO just signed granted law enforcement the direction to fulfill their duty with no regard to civil rights standards, but this seems another action meant to terrify and intimidate. I hope the community has wrapped this mother and her three daughters in their protective arms.
I would like to see the warrant. I read a report that said the warrant was for the HOUSE not people and that names were not listed. Sure, they took 20 people (not necessarily an unusual number for a no-knock warrant) and no one had verified who lived in that house. Their was no previous surveillance of the property. That is total incompetence!
It is beyond terrifying that this is happening in our country. My heart breaks for this woman and her little girls. How can they ever feel safe again, this will stay with them their entire lives.

If they are not real law enforcement agents, why are the agencies who have been contacted (ICE/Homeland Security, US Marshal and FBI) not just flat-out saying no, they do not have an investigation or warrant for that location and knew nothing about this. But they aren't saying that ... Homeland Security will "get back to them." FBI said they had been involved in an investigation, but later said they were not at the scene. US Marshal said they were not involved. So, WHO ARE THESE 20 MEN and why don't these agencies react with the kind of horror that we have when asked about this, and say they will investigate immediately?!
I feel so horrible for her. He is a heartless monster. How can we get a Go Fund Me page started for her? At least we need to support her. She needs to know people care. She will want to leave the house immediately and we need to help her find a new place to live. This makes me so afraid of what is ahead personally. Gunnar, I recently looked more carefully at the oath of office Federal employees/elected officials take (this includes military/“public safety” officers) because I wondered how folks seemingly violated their oath by actions taken, and wondered what was/is going through their mind doing so—gleeful, reluctant, shamed, supportive??? Then, too, sometimes a mob mentality takes over in the heat of the moment. I truly wonder if these folks—and all those generations of persons during some kind of conflict/confrontation—ponder their actions and regret and are self-shamed by them. Maybe an aspect of PTSD for those whoever have been in battle or on the frontlines (police, armed forces, DHS/ICE, etc).
